Modern Rock Icon Ronnie Radke Says What Many Are Thinking About Biden’s Administration

Posted on October 10, 2023 by Gregory Hoyt

Ronnie Radke, the lead singer of the popular metal/rock outfit Falling in Reverse, dropped a proverbial bomb on X (formerly known as Twitter) with respect to his take on the current administration, calling Joe Biden “the worst president in history.”

The modern rock/metal scene mogul shared the aforementioned sentiments online on October 9th, in a seemingly random post that read, “Joe Biden is the worst president in history.”

What exactly prompted the social media post from Radke could be anyone’s guess given the metaphorical scorecard of the Biden administration, but what came as a result of the social media post is par for the course for a personality in the entertainment industry espousing proverbial wrongthink.

Despite an amalgamation of quote tweets and other social media posts lambasting the Falling in Reverse lead singer, Radke largely seems unfazed, which is hardly surprising for anyone remotely familiar with the number of times Radke has fallen into the cancel-culture crosshairs over the years.

A brief overview of Radke’s brushes with the torchbearers of cancel culture date as far back to the mid-2000s, when a 2008 prison sentence for absconding from probation over his presence at a fight between two different parties that turned fatal wound up being twisted by the media into painting the at-the-time lead singer of rock band Escape the Fate as some kind of murderer.

In reality, Radke didn’t kill anyone, rather he happened to be present at a 2006 scuffle between two groups (described as four people against twelve, with Radke being amongst the smaller group) where someone from the larger group fired a gun and someone amidst the group Radke was with fired back, fatally wounding one of the aggressors.

The individual Radke was with who fired the fatal shot apparently got off on self-defense, whereas Radke, who was somewhat of a minor celebrity at the time, wound up getting stuck with a minor felony for being part and parcel to the larger fracas.

Ergo, that entire ordeal somehow became a talking point of Radke’s critics that he was some kind of a murderer.

Despite the hardships and having a brief stint in prison for absconding from his probation, by sheer tenacity – and likely a whole lot of talent – Radke managed to piece together a brand new band after being released from prison in December of 2010, recorded an album, and had the debut of Falling in Reverse released on a record label by July of 2011.

Then, after dealing with prison and forming a band that wound up becoming bigger than his former, Radke fell into the cancel-culture crosshairs again, this time getting bombarded with false sexual assault allegations in 2015 that only became more bombarding when getting regurgitated during the Me Too era of 2017.

In a move that would be considered bold by today’s standards, Radke did the thing that most in the entertainment industry avoid doing when getting lobbed with phony allegations: he filed suit against the woman who manufactured the allegations.

Still, to this day, Radke gets labeled a rapist via callbacks to this random woman’s claims from 2015 despite there being zero evidence of such an act ever transpiring.

And when all else fails in the cancel-culture realm, in comes the transphobia allegations. In the case of Radke, like most people with an IQ above room temperature, his purported harboring of “transphobia” stems from his criticism of obscure, imaginary gender-signaling pronouns and the chemical and/or physical castration of youths under the guise of the novel gender affirming care.

While Radke has largely avoided discussing politics, having even asserted in past online statements that he’s neither this-or-that party affiliated, he shared a post to X on October 7th agreeing that the most counter-culture move of modern times (a staple of the rock and heavy metal scene) is to be a run of the mill conservative.

So, while it’s still difficult to pinpoint why exactly Radke fathoms Biden is the worst president in history, it seems as though the alarming cultural shift of modern times has undoubtedly played a role on the music scene icon’s perspective on things socially and politically.
